Regeneration of Haven Banks Retail Park
August 2022: We have now submitted our planning application to Exeter City Council for the regeneration of Haven Banks Retail Park.

Coplan Estates and Welbeck CP are bringing forward plans for the regeneration of the Haven Banks retail park at Water Lane and Haven Road, to the south of Exeter city centre.
The proposals would deliver a sustainable new neighbourhood with high-quality homes, new retail and leisure facilities, and public and green space which complement and benefit the wider Haven Banks area.
Consulting the local community
In May 2022, we held a two-week public consultation on our plans for Haven Banks retail park, including two public drop-in events. This enabled us to gather and consider feedback before we finalised the proposed masterplan and submitted our planning application to Exeter City Council.

Planning application
On 1 August 2022, we submitted the planning application to Exeter City Council. It was validated in early September, and you can now view our full planning application by searching for the reference 22/1145/FUL on Exeter City Council’s planning portal. The Council is holding its consultation on our plans which is now open for comments.
Public drop-in events
We’re holding two events for the local community to find out more about the proposals and ask any questions to the team.
